With a very pronounced top tube inclination, over a very wide size range (from S: 1m55 to XL: 2m00), the EXPL 50 frame is MIXED.

LIGHTWEIGHT, COMFORTABLE AND PLAYFUL FRAME

It's not always easy to position yourself correctly on your mountain bike. Our designers have designed a brand-new, easy-to-step-over frame. This 100% aluminum CGF (Comfort Geometry Frame) is both comfortable and easy to handle. The rake has been designed to keep your back straighter, while the rear chainstays have been shortened to ensure the bike's agility when cornering.

DERAILLEUR and TRANSMISSION

3 chainrings of 7 speeds, or 21 speeds! 2 easy rotating handlebar grips. On the left (chainrings): you manage the ascent / descent. On the right (gears): you adapt your effort more precisely. FRONT SUSPENSION

The 80mm front suspension allows you to overcome your first obstacles with ease on slightly uneven trails. Its mechanical spring is a guarantee of reliability. Above all, the fork is easy to maintain.

27,5" WHEELS and TIRES FOR DRY GROUNDS

The EXPL 50's wheels are forgiving and robust, with 27,5-inch, double-walled, 28-spoke rims. Tackle your first obstacles with confidence: small rocks, roots, holes, and bumps! Because your first rides are on dry terrain, this mountain bike is equipped with 27,5 x 2.0 DRY tires. Their efficiency is optimized thanks to a fast-rolling center section, while their side knobs ensure good grip when cornering.

V-BRAKE PAD BRAKES

Braking effectively is ensured by the two V-brakes. These brakes consist of two calipers equipped with brake pads that apply varying degrees of pressure to the rim to slow down or stop the wheel's rotation. Check the brake pad wear once a year. If the grooves disappear, take your bike to the service department of your local shop.

HANGER, STEM, HANDLES

With its stem angled 10° upwards, the EXPL 50 mountain bike's cockpit is elevated, accessible, and comfortable. Details: - 90mm aluminum stem with a 10° angle for maximum comfort - 620mm wide steel handlebars for stability and control - Soft-touch grips for a good hold and a smooth, comfortable feel.

SADDLE

Your comfort is our priority, so we offer an exclusive ERGOFIT saddle that's wider and features a hammock-like profile. Easily adjust your saddle height with the 350 mm or 400 mm long steel FLEX post (depending on size). Its reduced diameter of 27,2 mm provides your seat with 30% greater natural flexibility compared to a conventional solution.

FLAT PEDALS

The ROCKRIDER EXPL 50 mountain bike comes with flat, hard resin mountain bike pedals for added lightness and safety. If your foot slips off the pedal, you'll be less likely to get injured.

TRANSPORT and STORAGE

To easily remove/install the front wheel, we've added a quick-release system. A nut at the rear secures the bike to reduce the risk of theft. A flat wrench is required to remove the rear wheel. Our tip: a bike rack is a simple way to transport your mountain bike easily, without dirtying your car.

WHAT SIZE OF MTB TO CHOOSE?

Several sizes exist: S: between 1,55 m and 1,64 m M: between 1,65 m and 1,74 m L: between 1,75 m and 1,84 m XL: between 1,85 m and 2,00 m To adapt the mountain bike to your size and your morphology, here is our advice: 1/ Sitting on the saddle, you must touch the ground with the tips of your toes. 2/ To adjust the saddle, your knee will be slightly bent with the foot on the pedal in the low position. 3/ If you hesitate between two sizes, choose the larger size.

NON-CONTRACTUAL PHOTO

Concerning the 7 cog 14 to 28 tooth cassette, the photos or videos on the description of the bike show a SHIMANO TZ500 cassette. However, for reasons of difficulty of supply, the bike can be equipped with an equivalent cassette from the WHEELTOP brand.
