More accessible brakes and a better grip are the advantages of our "Easy Stop System." For a more natural movement, the brake lever is pressed parallel to the handlebars. While remaining progressive, this innovative brake lever provides 30% more braking power than a conventional lever. An innovation from our B'twin team, appreciated by children and parents alike.
Adjusting brakes has always been a difficult time for parents. The P-Nut Brake promises to never come out of adjustment! And if it does happen due to an impact on the brake caliper, the adjustment can be made on one side only. Installation is available in-store.
Is it possible to add training wheels? Yes, if your child feels the need. Our 16-inch Btwin stabilisers are compatible with this model. Just be aware that according to several studies, apprentice cyclists will transition more easily and quickly to cycling if they master balance in balance bike mode (without pedals). Ideally, the child should learn balance beforehand on a balance bike, or on a 2-in-1 balance bike (like our 14" Discover 500 and 900)
To learn to ride a bike with complete peace of mind, we advise against choosing a bike that's too big. At Decathlon, we pay careful attention to the sizes we indicate to help you choose the best-fitting bike. Tip: consider renting! If your child is still a little small for the bike you had in mind but is eager to learn, we recommend renting a smaller bike while they grow.
To ensure optimal learning comfort, this bike has been specially designed to adapt to the morphology of children: the width of the handlebars and the diameter of the grips are designed for their small hands. The foam saddle ensures a comfortable seat and is height adjustable.

Poor quality for the price!!!
We went to the store 3 times because the bike no longer ran due to the braking system constantly going out of adjustment at the slightest impact.
The bike was in the workshop, another braking system was installed, but the problem persists. I was supposed to be called after my previous review, I'm still waiting for the call from customer service....
