We know that for comfortable hiking, it's important that your clothing doesn't restrict movement. So we added elastane to the fabric. This stretchy hooded fleece follows your every move for your ultimate comfort.
A tested and validated resistance
We test the durability of our fleeces by checking: - resistance to abrasion caused by a backpack and arm movements to prevent pilling; - the strength of the seams; - the resistance of the material and colors after washing, to UV rays, and to perspiration.
Breathable fleece, what is it for?
Who hasn't sweated while hiking? It's inevitable during sustained effort. That's why we've equipped our garment with breathable side panels that effectively wick away moisture. With this guarantee, enjoy dry and comfortable hikes.
How is breathability measured?
A fabric's breathability is measured by its evaporative resistance (RET) (ISO 11092 standard): the lower it is, the more breathable the fabric. Examples: RET < 9 (very breathable), 9 < RET < 12 (breathable), RET > 20 (not very breathable). This fleece jacket has a RET index of 8.
How to wash a fleece jacket?
Because you're not immune to getting dirty while hiking, this fleece is perfectly suited to washing at 40°C. Just remember to close the zippers and turn it inside out before putting it in the washing machine. Avoid exceeding 1000 rpm for the spin cycle, as well as the dryer.
How does matter insulate against the cold?
The fleece component's mission is to trap air thanks to the volume created by its texture (described as brushed when it is made of loops). This air keeps the body warm thanks to its naturally insulating power.
What is the cut of this fleece?
Our expertly designed fit combines technicality and femininity: snug yet comfortable for hiking. It provides ample lower back coverage and includes a hood for added insulation. Choose your usual size for the best fit.
How is heat measured?
Our fleeces undergo two tests: a material test and another on a mannequin in a thermal chamber, simulating mountain conditions. These tests validate the design, confirmed by testers in real conditions. Guaranteed comfort between 2 and 10°C, choose your usual size.
