To take your measurements:

  • Head:  Wrap a measuring tape around your head, above the eyebrows. Make sure it's parallel to the ground when your head is straight.
  • Chest:  Wrap a measuring tape around your back and come forward as far as your chest goes. Make sure it is straight and parallel to the ground.

      Fitted, but not too tight, we recommend wearing a technical base layer under this fleece jacket. This will give you better protection from the cold. It's also designed to be worn just under our windproof/waterproof jackets. Choose your usual size.

      The fleece component's mission is to trap air thanks to the volume created by its texture (called "brushed fleece" when it is made of loops). This air keeps the body warm thanks to its naturally insulating power.

      This fleece jacket has been designed and validated to be worn in cold weather between 7°C and 10°C without a jacket over it.

      How is heat measured?

      We conduct two types of thermal tests: on the fleece fabric and on the thermal mannequin in a thermal chamber. These tests replicate the mountain conditions (wind, humidity, temperature) you might encounter. They allow us to validate our designs and adjust the thermal insulation.

      Why breathable fleece?

      When hiking, sweating is inevitable, even in cold weather. To avoid the sauna effect, we have opted for a breathable fabric that wicks away body moisture. Its full-length zip allows you to open the jacket for additional ventilation.
