In terms of IMPERMEABILITY, what does it give?

The jacket is waterproof to 10 Schmerber thanks to its component, and its 000% sealed seams and zips. This garment has been validated in shower test, the fabric is resistant to 100 mm of water pressure after 10 washes. Our waterproof membrane does not like wild vegetation (branches, brambles, etc.), stay vigilant when passing through the forest! To improve your comfort, this jacket has a low elastic tightening system to limit the entry of air if you are cold.

And in terms of BREATHABILITY?

It is breathable (RET < 6) thanks to its membrane. To determine whether a fabric is breathable, its evaporative resistance RET is measured (test based on ISO 11092). The lower the resistance, the more the fabric allows water vapor generated by the body during activity to escape, therefore the more breathable it is. For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable fabric / RET < 12 = very breathable fabric / RET < 20 = breathable fabric / RET > 20 = slightly or not at all breathable fabric.

CARE and WASHING Tips

Washing: Hand wash in warm water or machine wash on a short, delicate cycle (30°), with a small amount of liquid detergent and a low spin cycle. Do not use powder detergent, fabric softener, or bleach. Drying: Lay the garment out to air dry. Once completely dry, you can tumble dry it on a low heat setting with a short, cold/delicate cycle to revive the water repellency.
