Innovation stop easy: a patented braking system suitable for children.

More accessible brakes, better handling, these are the advantages of our "Easy Stop System". For a more natural movement, pressing the brake lever is parallel to the handlebars. While remaining progressive, this innovative brake lever thus makes it possible to gain 30% in braking power compared to a conventional lever. An innovation from our B'twin team, appreciated by children and parents alike.

What types of brake?

We opted for cantilever brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear, which allow progressive braking.

Why this frame shape?

The frame of this bike, designed by our teams, follows a V-shape: lowered in the middle, it makes it easier to step over when the child gets on and off the bike.

Wheels/tires

These tires are equipped with an inner tube (inflatable). We have chosen real tires for better passage of obstacles (sidewalks, etc.) and good grip on everyday terrain (paths, lawns, etc.).

Ready to leave the small wheels behind?

The small wheels are removed with a BTR (Allen) 6 key.

And about comfort?

We have taken into account the morphology of children: the width of the handlebars and the diameter of the grips are sized for their small hands. The foam saddle guarantees a comfortable seat.

The child grows, the bike too!

The saddle is adjustable in height (using a BTR (Allen) 6 key), to accompany the growth of your child. The saddle height can be adjusted between 43,5 and 50,5 cm. Our bikes comply with the Children's Bike Standard (ISO 8098), therefore we cannot offer you a saddle adjustment with a tool-free system (quick release) .

A carter, but what is it for?

To prevent children from putting their fingers where they should not, the mechanical elements of the transmission (crank, chain, freewheel, etc.) are enclosed by the casing. It also prevents the risk of jamming laces and soiling of clothing. The decorations are embedded in the plastic of the casing to be more resistant.
