Snorkeling safety

Snorkeling is a simple, fun activity for the whole family! Breathing through a snorkel is more demanding than just swimming. IF you feel tired, short of air or dizzy, remove your mask and snorkel and get out of the water. Use of this product is not recommended if you have cardiovascular problems ( lung infection, angina, asthma, hypertension, heart disease, etc.). Do not hesitate to consult your doctor in case of doubt

Soupape

During your Snorkeling trips, water can enter the snorkel due to immersion or splashes. The valve is a valve located at the bottom of the snorkel that facilitates the expulsion of water. Thanks to the valve, most of the water is expelled from the bottom and requires less exhalation effort (unlike a classic snorkel where the water is expelled from the top).

Use of the valve

Just blow gently to empty your snorkel through the valve. After blowing, be careful when you resume your inspiration, inhale gently because a little residual water may remain in the snorkel. If in doubt, don't panic, lift your head out of the water and the snorkel empties instantly through the valve. Intense swimming at high speeds is not recommended as it can cause the valve to move and lead to water ingress.

Valve maintenance

It happens that sand or salt gets stuck between the valve and the hard part of the snorkel, this prevents the valve from laying correctly flat and it no longer performs its sealing role. It is then enough to rinse the tuba abundantly with clear water and to make sure that the valve rests, again, quite flat.

Breathe easy

With its comfortable mouthpiece and the appropriate size of the snorkel, breathe in complete safety.

Silicone

Silicone is an extremely flexible material. The mouthpiece therefore provides increased comfort in the mouth.

0% PVC

This snorkel does not contain any PVC material.

tip

The mouthpiece is the part of the snorkel that is placed in the mouth. Its shape, specially studied, makes it one of the most comfortable snorkels in the mouth.

Deflector

The deflector is the part located at the top of the snorkel. Its curved shape creates a protection limiting the entry of water from the top of the snorkel.

Approval

Snorkel complies with safety requirements and according to European standard EN 1972. Certified by the INPP (National Institute for Professional Diving).

Snorkel dimensions

Length: 40 cm. Thickness: 3 cm.

Good product, mask…

Good product, the mask sticks well to the face

This tuba is good…

This snorkel is good but the morphology of my jaw means that after 45 minutes/1 hour of swimming, my masseter muscle and jointTM are sensitive.
