Cooler and darker for better sleep! Fresh & Black is a Decathlon-patented technology that allows us to reflect the sun's rays and insulate light using specific materials. This reduces the feeling of heat in your tent and increases darkness. To make the most of this technology, don't forget to ventilate your tent at night!
This tent uses a classic dome setup. Simply install the poles with the bedroom, then attach the top pole, and finally, place the flysheet over the top. To dismantle, simply reverse the process.
Tent recommended with self-inflating mattresses or trekking mattresses up to 65 cm wide. We do not recommend using inflatable mattresses thicker than 8 cm in this tent. This significantly reduces the volume inside the tent and promotes condensation inside.
To allow air to circulate and be renewed between the bedroom and the double roof and to best limit the natural phenomenon of condensation, the tent has 2 vents on the top and 2 mechanical ventilations lateral.
All our tents are validated in the laboratory and in the field to guarantee waterproofness. To do this, we place the entire tent under a shower that releases 200 liters of water per hour for 3 hours. The flysheet is made of 2000mm Schmerber PU-coated polyester, the groundsheet is 120 g/m² polyethylene, and all seams are sealed with heat-sealed strips.
We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each of these faces. The well-pitched tent with all the guy lines well deployed around the tent must remain habitable with a wind speed measured at 40 km/h near the ground (Force 5).

This camping tent is designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) during your camping trips or in the great outdoors. Continuous exposure to UV rays for several weeks can damage its fabric. Our tents do not fall into the "garden furniture" category and are not designed to remain outdoors permanently. To ensure the optimal lifespan of your tent, it is important to store it when not in use. 5-year warranty.
Our tents accompany you during your camping nights. As they are used, they age and certain parts can wear out or break. To facilitate repair, we make each part (poles, flysheet, bedroom, etc.) accessible and facilitate their replacement. Don't throw away, let's repair!

First night for my little campers. Easy to assemble and store
A very good tent for €55 with its black and fresh canvas which protects better from the heat than a classic canvas. Quite easy to assemble but the first time the instructions are on video on the internet which is not necessarily practical at the campsite, we spend a little time to understand. The following times it goes by itself thanks to the benchmarks. The only flaw is that the carrying bag doesn't have a handle so you grab it mechanically by the elastic and it opens. If you have already set up a tent, the price difference with the same 3 sec version makes it worth choosing this one.
Bought to replace my previous fresh & black (still functional after years of good and loyal service), the strong points which made me choose this one are: - the "discreet" openings on the sides (to ventilate without being visible from the outside) - The small covered part outside the passenger compartment (allowing you to keep your shoes protected from the rain without tucking them into the tent) - The compact format which fits in a hiking bag (unlike frisbees giants that are the 2s) - the fact that it lets a little bit of light in (my old F&B is completely dark to the point that you have to either open or turn on a lamp to find your way around, even in broad daylight)
