Setting up and taking down the tent
Take advantage of EASY technology and its push button to set up your tent in 1 minute. Its self-supporting structure allows you to move the tent once set up to find the ideal location. Instant folding: once the tent is no longer under tension, simply pack it into the cover.

Use of your tent
This camping tent is designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) during your camping trips or in the great outdoors. Continuous exposure to UV rays for several weeks can damage its fabric. Our tents do not fall into the "garden furniture" category and are not designed to remain outdoors permanently. To ensure the optimal lifespan of your tent, it is important to store it when not in use.
Waterproofing of the tent
All our tents are validated in the laboratory and in the field to guarantee waterproofness. To do this, we place the entire tent under a shower that releases 200 liters of water per hour for 3 hours. The flysheet is made of 2000mm Schmerber PU-coated polyester, the groundsheet is made of 5000mm Schmerber PU-coated polyester, and all seams are sealed with heat-sealed tape.
Tent ventilation
2 side doors allow maximum ventilation when open. Inner room in breathable mesh plus mechanical ventilation. To allow air to circulate and be renewed between the room and the flysheet and thus limit the natural phenomenon of condensation, a space between the flysheet and the ground is integrated over the entire surface of the tent.
Wind resistance
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a rotating platform to expose each of these sides. A properly pitched tent with all guy lines fully extended around the tent should remain habitable with a wind speed measured at 50 km/h near the ground (Force 6).

Cooler and darker for better sleep! Fresh & Black is a Decathlon-patented technology that allows us to reflect the sun's rays and insulate light using specific materials. This reduces the feeling of heat in your tent and increases darkness. To make the most of this technology, don't forget to ventilate your tent at night!

Where do our tents come from?
Created in our international design center at the foot of Mont Blanc, France, this tent is then manufactured and assembled by our suppliers in China, Vietnam, and Bangladesh. These partners possess real expertise in the manufacture of our tents and with whom we work closely. This relationship of trust with our industrial partners allows us to create high-quality technical products.

Mattress compatibility
Tent recommended with self-inflating mattresses or trekking mattresses up to 70 cm wide. We do not recommend using inflatable mattresses thicker than 8 cm in this tent. This significantly reduces the volume inside the tent and promotes condensation inside.

We don't do any better in terms of speed of assembly and dismantling! Practical for traveling
Hello, I am putting my opinion here, but I am also speaking to Decathlon R&D. I would like to point out that this is a kind comment. I'm from Brittany, I've been buying tents, camping accessories and decathlon backpacks since 2006. I do classic camping, hiking, backpacking trips such as Australia, Canada, mountains (non-professional, just adventurer) and music festivals. Last year we bought this tent with my partner in anticipation of a road trip to Norway where we spent two weeks 100% nature (in August). We were attracted by the very quick disassembly and reassembly (aim to set up a camp in less than ten minutes flat), by the large interior (and vertical) space, and by the practical storage. We used the tent in these multiple conditions: Very heavy and intense rain, storms, good weather, temperatures from 7° to 15°. We pitched the tent in the forest (open area with clean ground, i.e. grass and twigs) and in a grass type campsite. Total 10 nights, with use of a decathlon inflatable mattress (integrated foot pump). In short, we used it as usual with our other Decathlon tents. Back in France: We noticed that the ground cover had deteriorated. Compared to all the tents we've had, the ground tarp on this one is particularly thin (we assume it's an innovative tarp). Except that it is laminated on both sides with a transparent plastic layer. This layer of plastic was micro-torn in places *interior side*, almost everywhere (from 2 to 5mm in diameter), without the tarpaulin being perforated (it was just the plastic layer which had deteriorated). Thinking that this would impact the waterproofing of the tent, we went to Decathlon 2 months later to try to find a solution (no use since). The Decathlon staff were not friendly and questioned the veracity of our words... We found this exchange unprofessional and very limited, we had to insist that a solution be proposed. As a result, we exchanged our tent for a new one, with no possibility of refund. We have not used this new tent yet: Next departure in May 2024. Anyway, I would like to point out that apart from this problem: The tent is perfect. We have never seen a tent so simple and quick to set up AND take down. The storage is very practical. We like the feeling of not having the ceiling too close to us, we can sit and feel like we're in a big tent. The Fresh & Black is incredible: Full sun outside and almost complete black inside (The material does not obscure completely, but very convincing). We didn't feel cold even up to 7° outside and a lot of humidity. In short, great attempt but fingers crossed for the future. Photo available from the PB if necessary.
