Maintenance advice
Our camping tents are designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) during your camping trips or in the great outdoors. Continuous exposure to UV rays for several weeks can damage their fabric. These products do not fall into the "garden furniture" category and are not designed to remain outdoors permanently. To ensure optimal longevity for your tent, it is important to store it when not in use.
Ventilation
The ventilated flysheet on the living area allows for ventilation and limits condensation inside your tent. High ventilation hatches are also located at the front and back of the tent, as well as high mosquito nets on the door and at the back of the bedroom.
Poles and stakes
Poles - All our poles are made of fiberglass and undergo a double quality control process. This guarantees you one of the best resistances to breakage. Stakes - All our stakes are made of steel and have a diameter of 6 mm.
Living room and bedroom
5 m² living room with a tent height of 1,90 m. This tent is equipped with a raised groundsheet at the entrance in case of rain and a transparent window with shutter. The bedroom of this tent is designed to accommodate a maximum of four 60 cm wide mattresses. It can also accommodate a couple looking for a very large bedroom.

Assembly and disassembly
You have three hoops to pass through their respective sleeves. You will find color codes to help you. We recommend 2 people assemble the hoops. Floor area with guy ropes: 20m²
Waterproofing and taped seams
We test our tents to validate their waterproofness. The first test is carried out in a laboratory for 3 hours, under 200 liters of water per hour and m², the equivalent of a tropical rain shower of 200 mm per hour. The second test is carried out in the field in real conditions by our teams. This tent is equipped with a 2000 mm polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet. It also has seams sealed with heat-sealed strips and a 140 g/m² polyethylene groundsheet.
Sunscreen
The flysheet fabric has UPF 30 sun protection. Caution: Be careful, a significant amount of UV can pass through a simple open door.
Wind resistance
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a rotating platform. The goal is to expose each side of our tent to the same wind intensity. With a proper pitch and the guy lines deployed, this tent remains habitable in a wind force 6, measured at 50 km/h.
Repair
As designers and enthusiasts of our playground, we care about the durability of our products. That's why all our tents are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and pole repairs are available at your Decathlon store workshop or on Decathlon.fr.

The aunt is very easy to assemble but to put it away it was quite complicated we spent a whole afternoon trying to fold it but in the end we didn't succeed
