Living room and bedroom
Living room of 5 m² with a height under the tent of 1,90 m. This tent is equipped with a basin groundsheet that can be lifted at the entrance in case of rain and a transparent shuttered window. The bedroom of this tent is designed to accommodate a maximum of four 60 cm wide mattresses. It can also accommodate a couple looking for a very large room.
Assembly and disassembly
You have three hoops to pass into their respective sheaths. You will find color codes to help you. We recommend assembly with 2 people. Ground surface with guy lines: 20m2
Sunscreen
The fabric of the flysheet has UPF 30 sun protection. Please note: be careful, a large amount of UV rays can pass through just an open door.
Ventilation
The ventilated flysheet on the living room provides ventilation and limits condensation inside your tent. High ventilation hatches are also placed at the front and back of the tent as well as high mosquito nets on the door and at the bottom of the room.
Wind resistance
We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable. The goal is to expose each side of our tent to the same wind intensity. With a well-made assembly and deployed guy lines, this tent remains habitable with a force 6 wind, measured at 50 km/h.
Waterproofing and taped seams
We test our tents to validate their waterproofness. The first test is done in the laboratory, for 3 hours, under 200 liters of water per hour and per m², the equivalent of tropical rain of 200 mm per hour. The second test is done in the field in real conditions by our teams. This tent is fitted with a 2000mm polyurethane coated polyester flysheet. It also has taped seams via heat-sealed strips and a 140 g/m² polyethylene groundsheet.
Repair
As designers and practitioners who love our playground, we are concerned about the resistance of our products. That's why all of our tents are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and pole repairs are available at the workshop of your Decathlon store or on Decathlon.fr.
Poles and stakes
Poles - All our poles are made of fiberglass and benefit from a double quality control. The latter guarantees you one of the best resistance to breakage.Pegs - All our posts are made of steel and have a diameter of 6 mm.
Maintenance advice
Our camping tents have been designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) during your camping outings or in the great outdoors. A continuous exposure of several weeks to UV can damage their textile part. These products do not fall into the "garden furniture" category and are not designed to be left outdoors permanently. To ensure that your tent lasts as long as possible, it is important to store it when not in use.
