      Thanks to its great absorption capacity, wool limits the appearance of bad odours. Indeed, merino wool not only absorbs the water contained in sweat, it also absorbs the exhalations of perspiration odors. So you can wear your t-shirt for several days in a row, which allows you to take fewer clothes on a trek!

      How does the merino wool of the MT500 t-shirt promote the evaporation of perspiration?

      After exertion and heavy sweating, merino wool easily traps warm insulating air and can absorb up to 35% of its weight in humidity without giving the feeling of being damp, which is appreciable in cool weather. In hot, dry weather, the evaporation of the water in the wool absorbs energy, which at the same time slightly cools your body.

      Use of a BETA-SPUN yarn structure in which polyamide filaments form a fine sheath around the merino wool fibers and thus protect them against friction and cuts without altering their technical properties.

      We use wool from Merino sheep raised on mulesing-free farms in South Africa. We decided to build a partnership with a breeders' group (Konsortium Merino) to ensure the good living and shearing conditions of the sheep from which the wool used in our products comes. This gives us traceability that allows us to guarantee the origin of the wool.

      How do I wash my MT500 merino wool t-shirt?

      We advise you to machine wash your merino wool t-shirt at 30°C, normal cycle, preferably with liquid detergent. The drying is done flat, NEVER in the dryer unless you want to have a merino t-shirt for dolls! You can find an article on the care of merino wool clothing on the Forclaz website.

      For more softness of the component, do not hesitate to wash your T-shirt before its first use.
