All our anti-UV t-shirts are UPF50+, i.e. they have the maximum level of sun protection. The choice will therefore be made on the length of the sleeves then will depend on the type of stress during practice. practice of surfing that the constraints are the strongest so we have decided to build our range primarily for surfing. For surfing, the choice will be made according to the duration of your sessions: 1 hour, 2 hours or 3 hours.

The textile that makes up this OLAIAN anti-UV product blocks at least 98% of UVB and 95% of UVA (UPF 50+). This is the guarantee of effective protection against the sun. It can be used in and out of water for the practice of water and water sports. UV filtration is generated by the density of the textile fibers, this protection is resistant over time, even after washing.

UPF is a sun protection index (Ultra Violet Protection Factor) standardized and standardized worldwide. It defines the level of textile protection and more precisely the proportion of UV transmission. In order to meet the standards, it must block at least 95% of UV. UPF 50+ means that the textile blocks at least 95% of UVA and 98% of UVB.

This anti-UV t-shirt limits friction and irritation associated with contact with the surfboard or bodyboard. It can also be used under a wetsuit to limit friction, particularly around the neck and armpits. We have designed seamless panels under the arms to limit irritation associated with rowing movements. Our test protocols have validated that the irritations were well limited during 2-hour sessions.

This OLAIAN anti-UV top has a drawstring at the hips. It allows you to tighten the top to ensure better stability. It has also been studied to be able to pass the cord of the swim shorts in order to prevent the top from riding up during practice.

The recommended minimum water temperature for the use of this anti-UV t-shirt is 22°C. The air temperature can influence this recommendation upwards or downwards. Our thermal models (over 2 hours) are made of either fleece or neoprene, or both. The presence of wind will have an impact which can be annoying as soon as the wind exceeds 15 km/h: model with neoprene.

Our UV tops are designed to meet the most demanding surfers. Our design choices also make them compatible with other water sports such as swimming, kitesurfing, windsurfing, wakeboarding, water skiing, active sea walking (longe-coast) or SUP (stand-up paddle ).

Because the child's defense system is put in place after the age of 3, the skin of children is very sensitive to the sun. At identical exposure, the effects of the sun are 2 to 3 times greater in a child than in an adult. It is therefore important to protect them effectively.

Although this t-shirt provides protection from the sun, phenomena such as reflection (on water, sand...), heat, time of day, etc. must be taken into account. Wearing this t-shirt does not exempt you from following appropriate behavior: wearing sunglasses, wearing a hat or cap, regularly applying suitable sunscreen, drinking regularly, etc.
