The fabric of these overtrousers has a waterproofness of 2000 mmThis garment has been validated in a shower test under 60 liters of water / m² / hour for two hours. This test reproduces the average conditions of a downpour. The fabric is water-repellent: it lets water slide over its surface without absorbing it. Thus the textile does not soak up water and remains light and breathable. The water repellency is obtained by a treatment applied to the outer face of the fabric. In addition, we have sealed 100% of the outer seams.

To find out if a fabric is breathable, its coefficient of Thermal Evaporative Resistance (RET) is measured during a test based on the ISO 11092 standard.
