Stay
Square-shaped living room with a surface area of 6,25 m² and a maximum height of 2,15 m. Door height: 1,70 m.
Assembly and disassembly
Traditional assembly and disassembly with arches. Follow our instructions sewn into the cover of the product. We recommend assembly with 2 people.
Sunscreen
The fabric of the roof is equipped with UPF 30 sun protection. Please note: be careful, a significant amount of UV can pass through a simple open door.
Ventilation
Three sides have an opening for better air circulation. Each of the openings is equipped with a mosquito net to prevent the entry of insects.
Wind resistance
We test all of our stays in a wind tunnel on a turntable. The goal is to expose each side of our living room to the same wind intensity. With a well-made assembly and deployed stays, this living room remains habitable with a force 6 wind, measured at 50 km/h.
Waterproofing and taped seams
We test our stays to validate their impermeability. The first test is done in the laboratory for 3 hours under 200 liters of water per hour and per m², the equivalent of tropical rain of 200 mm per hour. The second test is done in the field in real conditions by our teams. This living room is equipped with a 2000 mm polyurethane coated polyester roof. It also has taped seams via heat-sealed strips and a 140 g/m² polyethylene groundsheet.
Repair
As designers and practitioners who love our playground, we are concerned about the resistance of our products. That's why all of our tents are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and repairs for inflatable hoops are available at the workshop of your Decathlon store or on Decathlon.fr.
Poles and stakes
Poles - All our poles are made of fiberglass and benefit from a double quality control. The latter guarantees you one of the best resistance to breakage.Pegs - All our posts are made of steel and have a diameter of 6 mm.
Maintenance advice
Our camping stays have been designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) during your camping outings or in the great outdoors. A continuous exposure of several weeks to UV can damage their textile part. These products do not fall into the "garden furniture" category and are not designed to be left outdoors permanently. To guarantee an optimal lifespan for your camping stay, it is important to store it when not in use.

Product Comments

Très bien
Nice and practical product. But difficult to assemble quickly alone. Lack of waterproof windows for bad weather days (wind, rain). A transparent plastic in addition to mosquito nets would be appreciated to see the outside in bad weather. The fabric "cooks" quickly in the sun (UV) and tears after 2 or 3 summer seasons. Damage.
price which increased by €20 all at once, i.e. a 20% increase! unfortunate and unwelcome
