Our environmental approach
Because we are aware that we must act to preserve our playground, Quechua is committed to limiting the environmental impact of its products. Today, this product is not eco-designed, but we work every day to make it more responsible: eco-design, repairability, and durability are at the heart of our developments.
Sole grip
The grip of our soles is certified. To qualify, the shoe must pass laboratory tests to evaluate the grip coefficient on different surfaces (smooth, rough, dry, wet). To approve these tests, we then have the quality of our soles assessed in the field, in the mountains, by a panel of child testers.
Designed for use on natural trails
Our hiking sandals are designed for use on natural trails. We select and test the components of our soles to best adapt them to hiking on forest trails, dirt trails, or rocky coastlines. Use on roads (tarmac) can accelerate the wear of your soles. We do not recommend using them on mountain trails with significant elevation changes.
