To take your measurements:

  • Head:  Wrap a measuring tape around your head, above the eyebrows. Make sure it's parallel to the ground when your head is straight.
  • Chest:  Wrap a measuring tape around your back and come forward as far as your chest goes. Make sure it is straight and parallel to the ground.
    Raise your head, tighten the tape and breathe normally.

      Our hiking designers designed this NH Arpenaz 100 30 liter backpack to accompany your occasional hikes in the plains, forest or coast.

      Water Resistant

      The bag's components are water-repellent, allowing you to temporarily continue your walk/hike in a light rain shower. Please note: this backpack is not waterproof and does not come with a rain cover. If you want to continue your walk/hike in rainy weather and protect your belongings, we recommend this model: "20 to 40 liter rain cover", available on our website, reference 8734213.

      How is volume measured?

      The volume of each backpack is measured according to a standardized method: we use small balls to fill the main compartment as well as each of the pockets. We then empty the bales into a graduated container which then gives us the equivalent volume in litres.

      How to adjust your bag?

      - Loosen all straps (shoulder straps, belts, load adjusters), - Put on the bag, - Tighten the shoulder straps, - Adjust the load adjusters to your liking.

      How to fill your backpack?

      - Place heavy equipment at the bottom. Clothes will be stored around it; - Keep your waterproof jacket and/or fleece close at hand; - In the pockets, distribute the small equipment for the day (sunscreen, map, glasses, etc.); - The water bottle can be placed in the external side pockets provided for this purpose.

      Tested for optimal resistance

      We perform several laboratory tests to validate the components of the bag: fabrics, buckles, straps, foams, zips.
