10L hiking backpack, Arpenaz 50

Our hiking designers designed this NH Arpenaz 50 10 liter backpack to accompany your occasional hikes in the plains, forest or coast.

How is volume measured?

The volume of each backpack is measured according to a standardized method: we use small balls to fill the main compartment as well as each of the pockets. We then empty the bales into a graduated container which then gives us the equivalent volume in litres.

How to adjust your bag?

1 - Loosen all straps (shoulder straps, waist belt, load adjusters) 2 - Put on the bag 3 - Tighten the shoulder straps 4 - Adjust the load adjusters to your liking

How to fill your backpack?

Place the heavy equipment in the bottom. Clothes will be stored around. Keep your waterproof jacket and/or fleece handy. In the pockets, distribute the small equipment of the day (sunscreen, map, glasses, etc.).

Water Resistant

The bag's components are water-repellent, allowing you to temporarily continue your walk/hike in a light rain shower. Please note: this backpack is not waterproof and does not come with a rain cover. If you want to continue your walk/hike in rainy weather and protect your belongings, we recommend this model: "10 to 20 liter rain cover", available on our website, reference 8772113.

Tested for optimal resistance

We perform several laboratory tests to validate the components of the bag: fabrics, buckles, straps, foams, zips. For example, for a fabric, we test its resistance to abrasion and tearing, color fastness to UV and washing and its impermeability. We also carry out tests to control the resistance of the assemblies by reproducing in accelerated the stresses of the bag over the years on a dummy reproducing the movement of a hiker.

Thanks to all your feedback, we've improved the design of our NH100 10-liter backpack. In this new model, we've added a double zip to the main pocket and a larger pocket bottom to the exterior pocket. The goal is to prevent you from losing your belongings when opening your bag. Of course, we haven't increased its price!
