This duffel bag is equipped with our "Extend" system which allows you to vary the volume of the bag. This is a system of straps that allows you to free up additional volume by loosening them. Conversely, it also allows you to compress the bag to reduce it to its minimum volume (40L for this one).
The volume of each backpack is measured according to a standardized method: we use small balls to fill the main compartment as well as each pocket. Then we empty the bales into a graduated container, which then gives us the equivalent volume in litres.
We carry out laboratory tests to validate the components: fabrics, buckles, straps, foams, zips... For example, for a fabric: resistance to abrasion, tearing, color fastness to UV rays, washing, waterproofness... Then a test on the finished product reproduces in accelerated form the stresses of the bag over the years, to check the resistance of the assemblies.

Adaptable and enormous capacity in max configuration, very solid, we feel it, resistant to rain..very, very good.
I change this bag every three to four years. I use it for my business trips and is sometimes mistreated on trains, bike trailers, pickup trucks, bus holds or planes. As a result, it is very worn at the friction points, the straps even cut. It doesn't matter: for the price, it's easily the best compromise on the market. In any case, it's the only one I found with a width of 45 cm allowing me to put my folded bike trailer inside thanks to the extensions. Essential for taking the train in France in bike - trailer mode. A mode that I use regularly for my business trips when the last segment allows it.
Fabric torn from the first trip, not durable enough to take the plane in the hold! The volume is large, which is what I was looking for, but with the lack of compartmentalization, things are constantly in disorder.
