An important clarification concerning the ISO 23537-1 standard
As part of this standard, the protocol for measuring the thermal performance of a sleeping bag uses a mattress whose thermal resistance corresponds to an R-value of 4,8. This means that using a less insulating mattress will reduce the thermal performance of your sleeping bag. We therefore recommend using an insulating mattress to optimize your thermal comfort.
How to repair your sleeping bag?
When trekking, a snag on a sleeping bag can happen! The good news is that it can be repaired to prevent the tear from getting bigger or the synthetic fibers from escaping. We recommend using self-adhesive repair patches (ref: 8584596). And if you don't feel comfortable doing this, an iron-on patch application service is available in the workshop at your Decathlon store.
And what is the comfort limit temperature?
The comfort limit temperature is the temperature limit at which a person curled up in their sleeping bag is generally in thermal equilibrium and is neither cold nor hot (determined for a human and under normal conditions of use). We recommend using an insulating mattress to optimize your thermal comfort.

What is comfort temperature?
We display on all our sleeping bags the comfort temperatures tested by an independent laboratory (AITEX) according to the European standard ISO 23537-1:2022. The comfort temperature is the lower limit of comfort at which a person in a relaxed posture is generally in thermal equilibrium and is neither cold nor hot (determined for a standard woman and under normal conditions of use). Choose your sleeping bag according to this.
Little tips before slipping into your sleeping bag
Dress simply (one layer of clothing is enough). Warm your extremities: hats, gloves, socks, hand warmers, rubbing... A hot water bottle can be used as a hot water bottle (if there is no risk of it accidentally opening!). Contract your muscles (1% of the energy consumed is transformed into heat), but without making any movement that generates a cold draft. Use a sleeping bag liner to optimize warmth and avoid washing your sleeping bag too much.
Form
Generous sarcophagus shape, wide at the shoulders, tightened at the feet to optimize thermal insulation (no heat loss) and compactness, while maintaining relative freedom of movement. Shoulder width 70 cm, height at the feet 32 cm in size L. 62/28 in S, 66/30 in M, 74/34 in XL.
Features
Ergonomic hood with drawstring. Anti-cold flap along the zips to prevent heat loss. Double-slider zips for optimal ventilation. Possibility to open the top of the sleeping bag thanks to the 2 side zips.
Warranty
This sleeping bag is guaranteed for a period of 5 years from the date of sale indicated on the sales receipt. The product covered by the guarantee will be repaired or exchanged free of charge. The guarantee covers defects in your sleeping bag excluding those resulting from normal wear and tear and those resulting from abnormal conditions of use.
