We recommend the total: helmet, elbow pads, knee pads and wrist protectors. Because in the end, the part of the body on which we fall... it's a bit random.
1 skate size = 4 sizes. how does this scalable system work?
The setting is done in 3 steps: 1. Open the lever.2. Pull on the front of the liner.3. Close the lever. Thanks to this system, the skates will serve the child for more than one season. For a child to be comfortable in their skates, choose skates adapted to their foot: avoid a product that is too heavy (not suited to their physical abilities) or too large (the foot slips inside the shoe causing poor posture and difficulties in controlling its trajectory).
How comfortable are fit 3 children's skates?
Semi-soft slippers with foam reinforcements for more comfort. In ventilated mesh (a fabric that absorbs moisture well), this slipper keeps your feet drier for longer. Rollerblades easy to put on thanks to simple and effective tightening: a micrometric buckle on the top of the liner for better precision + a velcro at the level of the instep to secure the heel in the shoe. Elastic laces on sizes 29/32 and 32/35, classic laces on size 35/38.
How do the fit 3 junior skates allow your child to roll and brake more efficiently?
The composite frame, which is lighter, promotes learning: it provides good gliding comfort. The 70 mm 80A wheels and ABEC 3 bearings offer a good compromise between sliding sensations and maneuverability. And to brake, our skates are equipped with a classic rubber pad brake that you can install on the right or left foot. Replacement pads are available in store.
Rubber wheels and brakes: what are the advantages over plastic ones?
Unlike plastic, which slips but does not brake, rubber has good grip: it allows your child to skate without slipping during pushes, and to brake effectively. In addition, rubber wears out less quickly than plastic. Our Oxelo teams are committed to safety, whatever the technical level of the child. We have therefore chosen to equip all children's skates with rubber wheels and brakes rather than PVC.
How to extend the life of the wheels?
Depending on where they are placed on the skate, some wheels will wear out faster than others. Do not hesitate to interchange their positions regularly. It is really time to change them when the wear reaches the first of the 7 circles visible on the inside of the wheel.
Which wheels for fit 3 skates?
FIT3 skates are equipped with 70mm wheels. Size 32/35 and 35/38 skates can be equipped with 76mm wheels, even lighted ones, they are available at the store and on the Internet.
Do you want to repair or maintain the skates?
You can find wheels of different sizes (even light ones), brakes or even compatible bolts on our website and in your Decathlon workshop departments. Everything is assembled very easily. Perfect product for learning
