How to ensure comfort and support?

The semi-soft liner with 3D mesh provides good comfort by limiting moisture inside the skate. New comfort foams and cushioning at the heel allow for comfortable skating. The cuff (the rising part of the liner) is rigid and rises well to properly support the ankle. Combined with a triple tightening system (lace, micro-metric buckle and tightening strap), this system guarantees a well-supported ankle.

Do you have to choose between glide quality and maneuverability?

No, not with Oxelo. The FIT500 skates offer very good gliding quality thanks to an aluminum frame (more rigid than a plastic frame, it offers good energy return), ABEC 7 bearings and new 80 mm rubber wheels (hardness 80 A to provide grip and comfort). The combination of aluminum frame and 80 mm rubber wheels provides a good compromise between recovery and quality of glide. The frame can also accommodate 84 mm wheels.

How do I maintain/repair my skates?

You can change parts or repair the roller using the after-sales service components available in store, on the internet or at the workshop of your Decathlon store. The parts you can change: 80 mm 80 A or 80 mm 84 A wheels, ABEC 7 or 9 bearings. Brake support adaptable to right or left foot.

How can I extend the life of my skates?

How to extend the life of the wheels?

It is common to invert the wheels of your skates since the wear is not uniform, it is done at an angle. The reason ? We often skate with the skates inclined inwards, to push, turn or even to start. To finish wearing down the rubber on your skates, swap your skate wheels (and reverse them in pairs).

What is the maximum weight supported by these FIT500 Oxelo skates?

These adult skates meet the EN 13843 class A standard (adult roller skate standard). This standard applies to Roller Sports Equipment - In-line roller skates designed to support between 20 and 100 kg (body weight). This European standard defines safety requirements and specifications relating to test methods, marking and information provided by the manufacturer to reduce the risk of injury to which the user could be exposed.
