How did we choose the coverings for our cooking pots?
On the 100 range we have chosen not to use a non-stick coating in order to have a very simple product that is resistant to all conditions of use or washing. So no need to worry about how to transport it, or wash it without damaging it!
Our advice for making the best use of your cooking pot:
Our pots are compatible with all types of hobs (wood, gas, induction, etc.). The saucepan has a patented 2-part folding handle that locks the lid during transport. The lid fits the saucepan, allows food to heat up faster, and also serves as a strainer. The soup plates have a structured design on the bottom to limit heat transfer and a hole for easy hanging.
A few words of gastronomy from our design team:
"Along with hiking, one of our passions is cooking. Even outdoors, you can cook lots of dishes other than pasta. And why not pick your own produce while hiking? Ultimately, cooking is easy, and that's what we wanted to achieve with this potluck: we wanted to make life easier for hikers. Food doesn't taste the same when you eat outside. We appreciate dishes differently."
Here are some examples of a mailn design in use:
The saucepan, which is graduated to help you measure volumes and quantities. The plates have a handle to hang them up to dry more quickly. And finally, a handle that closes the pot for transport.
How to store your meals?
The elements are stored inside the cooking pot. First, the two soup plates, then the cutlery, which can be clipped together. The lid is then placed and secured by the handle, which folds down. The plates and cutlery are also available for purchase individually.
Are there any gestures to avoid with your meals?
Never heat your pans empty, as this will warp and damage them. When using them over a wood fire, make sure that the flames do not directly touch the plastic parts. Close the handle properly before using the pot on the stove.
Cook whatever you want, wherever you want! We present to you the contents of the 100 cooking pot for 2 people:
1 graduated saucepan with 1 patented folding handle. (1,6 L usable, 1,95 L total, 290 g, Ø 19,5 cm x 9,5 cm) 2 soup plates (0,5 liter, 71 g unit) 2 sets of 3 clip-on cutlery (fork, spoon, knife) (21 g per set) 1 lid / strainer (80 g)
The choice of metals for our cooking pots: a decisive choice:
We chose 18/8 (304) stainless steel because it combines food safety and long-term durability. It does not rust and prevents corrosion. It is very durable and can be used with all types of utensils (including metal).
How to clean and maintain your cooking pot?
Before first use, rinse all parts 3 times with clean water. All parts are dishwasher safe, and when used outdoors they can be washed with soapy water or with water and river sand!
And now, we explain the plastics of our meal!
We chose polyamide (cutlery and handle), polypropylene (plates) and Tritan (lid) because they are lightweight and highly resistant to heat (even at 100°C), shocks and deformation. All our plastics in contact with food are Bisphenol-A (BPA) free in accordance with current French regulations. However, do not place plastic parts in direct contact with a flame, as they risk melting.
Our design team tells you the story of the mh100 cookware:
From the start, we wanted to offer you a product that allows you to take everything with you to eat and cook outside, while remaining clean and practical in use. What's next? A lot of people are involved at every stage of the design, 3D models, tests with enthusiasts and beginners, a lot of emotions and in the end a product we are proud of: a "turnkey" cooking pot that is easy to transport and use so you can cook peacefully outdoors.
