GUIDE TO SIZES MEN

To take your measurements:

  • Head:  Wrap a measuring tape around your head, above the eyebrows. Make sure it's parallel to the ground when your head is straight.
  • Chest:  Wrap a measuring tape around your back and come forward as far as your chest goes. Make sure it is straight and parallel to the ground.
    Raise your head, tighten the tape and breathe normally.
  • Size:  Wrap a tape measure around the narrowest part of your waist, above your belly button.
    Raise your head, tighten the tape and breathe normally.
  • Main:  Hold a tape measure at the bend of your thumb. Wrap around your palm.
  • Feet: hold on stand against a wall, heels touching the wall. Place an object (eg a book...) against your longest toe.
    Measure the length between the wall and the object.

      How to mount a tubeless-ready tire?

      First, install the tubeless valve (Ref.: 8817242). Attach one tire bead, then the other, starting at the valve. Inflate the tire until you hear a "click," confirming it's properly seated. To add sealant, deflate the tire, remove the valve core, and use the tubeless sealant (Ref.: 8814747). Replace the valve core, reinflate the tire, and rotate the wheel to distribute the sealant.

      How to check your tire wear?

      To check your tire wear, inspect the tread. A tire should be replaced if you can see the protective strip (or underlayer), or if the tire tread pattern has worn away. If either of these signs is visible, we recommend replacing it.

      How to properly inflate your tire?

      When inflating your tires, make sure they are properly seated on the rim. Then, check the pressure markings on the tire sidewall. Adjust the pressure according to these recommendations to ensure correct inflation.

      How do I remove my tire?

      Start by removing the wheel and deflating your tire. Then, push the edges of the tire to loosen it from the rim. Use the DECATHLON tire levers (ref.: 8930710) as levers to lift one side of the tire over the rim. Hook a tire lever onto a spoke and continue this process along the entire side. Once the tire is partially free, pull it off the rim completely by hand.
