To take your measurements:

  • Head:  Wrap a measuring tape around your head, above the eyebrows. Make sure it's parallel to the ground when your head is straight.
  • Chest:  Wrap a measuring tape around your back and come forward as far as your chest goes. Make sure it is straight and parallel to the ground.
    Raise your head, tighten the tape and breathe normally.
  • Size:  Wrap a tape measure around the narrowest part of your waist, above your belly button.

      These pants were designed for your treks in the desert, and particularly sandy deserts. To prevent sand from getting in, you will find: - a lightweight gaiter (and invisible if you don't need it) that attaches over the Desert 500 shoe on the laces. - a storm pocket to protect your phone or fragile object inspired by canyoning bags (waterproof against sand). To evacuate the sand from the other pocket, the bottom of it is made of mesh.

      The UPF index (Ultraviolet Protection factor) corresponds to tests carried out by spectrophotometer on a fabric. UPF 40 means the fabric lets through only 1/40th of UV radiation. It is one of the highest protections against the sun's rays.

      A cut adapted to hot climates

      For added comfort, these pants have a loose fit, unlike most hiking pants. Thus, the fabric is not stuck to the skin, which allows air to circulate and limits perspiration. In addition, the loose fit allows you not to be blocked by the fabric when seated.
