Composition of the set

8 screws 8mm in diameter for axles of Oxelo Rollers with plastic plate (FIT 3 adult, FIT100, STREET5). 2 screws extended by 0.4mm for the axle including the brake. 8 spacers and 16 outer-spacers.

What are spacers used for?

On ALL roller skates: the spacers prevent the 2 bearings from sinking inwards due to the pressure exerted by the screws. They also improve the glide quality and the resistance of the materials (the screw being in contact along its entire length with the bearings, spacers, plate). On SOME roller skates: the spacers allow the diameter to be adapted from 8 mm (diameter of the bearings) to 6 mm (diameter of many roller skate screws).
