Which basketball hoop height to choose?
The regulatory height of a basketball hoop is 3,05m (height of the hoop). If you are looking for a basketball backboard for a child, you should choose a basketball hoop with a height adjustment system. For younger children, there is no official height, so you can choose the height that suits them. Then, up to the age of 10, children play in clubs on 2,60m hoops. After 10, girls and boys play on 3,05m basketball backboards.
