What is r-value?

R-Value is the measure of thermal resistance. It measures the ability of a mattress to retain or prevent heat from escaping from a warm body (the human body) to a cold floor. The higher the R-Value, the better the insulation of the mattress. .You should know that the R-Value add up; this means that you can use 2 mattresses and add their R-Value. All our mattresses are tested according to the ASTM F3340-18 standard.

What r-value for what use?
