To take your measurements:

  • Head:  Wrap a measuring tape around your head, above the eyebrows. Make sure it's parallel to the ground when your head is straight.
  • Chest:  Wrap a measuring tape around your back and come forward as far as your chest goes. Make sure it is straight and parallel to the ground.
    Raise your head, tighten the tape and breathe normally.
  • Size:  Wrap a tape measure around the narrowest part of your waist, above your belly button.

      Underwater sports enthusiasts looking for a versatile dual porthole mask, ideal for snorkeling and scuba diving.

      silicone skirt

      The skirt of this mask (soft part of the mask in contact with the face) is made of silicone, an extremely flexible material. It has been completely redeveloped for this 2021 version following your feedback to suit even more divers. The thicknesses of the SCD 500 mask have been optimized to guarantee optimal sealing with the thinnest possible skirt and avoid discomfort and contact points on the face!;

      Colorama and cutting

      The SCD 500 mask is available in four versions. The opaque (black) skirts help limit reflections related to brightness. The crystal skirts, on the other hand, open the diver's field of vision. The use of fluorescent yellow on one of the designs increases the diver's visibility, especially in cloudy waters. The gray tinted glass improves contrast underwater, especially when the brightness is very strong. Available in two sizes (M and L).

      Tempered glass pane

      Tempered glass is two to five times stronger than traditional glass. When broken, it shatters into small pieces, helping to prevent major accidents. It has the advantage of being more scratch-resistant than polycarbonate glass. The mirrored glass version softens brightness, especially in shallower areas or on surfaces.

      Mask setting

      The micrometric buckles with buttons associated with the notched strap on each side of the mask allow easy and very precise adjustment of the mask, even with gloves.

      Dimensions and weight of the mask (size M)

      Mask width: 17 cm. Mask height: 10 cm. Maximum strap height: 8 cm. Strap length: 57 cm.

      Approval

      Mask complies with safety requirements and according to European standards EN 16805. Certified by the INPP (National Institute for Professional Diving) in Marseille (France).

      How to choose the right mask size

      You must place your mask on your face without the strap and press with your hands to press the mask against your face, blocking your breathing. If the mask "suctions" well and stays stuck to your face, it's perfect, it's your size and will be waterproof. If, on the contrary, it comes loose and falls, it means that air is passing through and therefore water will infiltrate, you must try another size or another mask.

      Avoid the appearance of fog in your mask

      New mask: Wash your mask with dish soap and warm water using your fingers to thoroughly degrease it. Do not use a sponge. Before each use, spit saliva into your mask and rub the window with your fingers, then rinse the mask. Wet your face with water to limit the temperature differences between your skin and the mask window; this will limit the appearance of fogging. Using an anti-fog spray can completely eliminate fogging.
