Snorkeling safety

Snorkeling is a simple, fun activity for the whole family! Breathing through a snorkel is more demanding than simply swimming. If you feel tired, short of breath, or dizzy, remove your mask and snorkel and get out of the water. The use of this product is not recommended if you have cardiovascular problems (lung infection, angina, asthma, hypertension, heart disease, etc.). Do not hesitate to consult your doctor if you have any doubts.

Cutting

For children from 6 to 10 years old, we recommend size S. From 10 years old, size M is recommended for thin faces and size L covers large faces.

How to choose the right mask size

You must place your mask on your face without the strap and press with your hands to press the mask against your face, blocking your breathing. If the mask "suctions" well and stays stuck to your face, it's perfect, it's your size and will be waterproof. If, on the contrary, it comes loose and falls, it means that air is passing through and therefore water will infiltrate, you must try another size or another mask.

Avoid the appearance of fog in your mask

New mask: Wash your mask with dish soap and warm water using your fingers to thoroughly degrease it. Do not use a sponge. Before each use, spit saliva into your mask and rub the window with your fingers, then rinse the mask. Wet your face with water to limit the temperature differences between your skin and the mask window; this will limit the appearance of fogging. Using an anti-fog spray can completely eliminate fogging.

Silicone

Silicone is an extremely flexible material. A silicone skirt gently adapts to the contours of the face, thus promoting sealing.

Tempered glass window (size M&L), polycarbonate plastic window (size S)

Tempered glass is more durable than traditional glass. It is more scratch-resistant than plastic glass. However, in the event of a significant or repeated impact, it can break into small pieces, which helps prevent major accidents. Do not jump or dive with your mask on your face or even in your hand. Do not leave your mask in the sun or even in the heat of your car just before use. For child safety, size S is made of plastic.
