The tint of your lenses should be adapted to your swimming location and its brightness. If you swim outdoors or in a brightly lit pool, choose smoked lenses for better visual comfort and to limit glare. If, on the other hand, the pool is rather dark with low light, such as in the evening in winter, choose clear lenses.

A swimming mask that fits your face properly doesn't require a tight fit. A mask that's too tight can cause discomfort, marks, and even water infiltration. There's no need to press down on the lenses with your hands; a light suction effect is often enough for swimming sessions without water infiltration.
