Our design team developed this 2-piece swimsuit for beginner surfers practicing in the foam.

BEGINNER SURFER

You start surfing or you only surf a few times a year. You stay where you are, in very small waves or in the foam. You practice for the pleasure of being in the water and for the sensations it gives you. During your sessions, you often fall but in weak waves. Our design team has designed a wide range of jerseys suitable for occasional practice.

MORPHOLOGY

The TALOO 2-piece swimsuit was designed for young beginner surfers. This swimsuit is essential for summer to practice surfing while having fun. Its neck adjustment makes it possible to adapt to the morphology of the surfer. The pants have a normal cut, with good hold in the waves.

WAVE TEST

We design swimsuits whose promise is to hold up in the waves. To evaluate them, we call on a panel of at least 12 surfers with different morphologies who will follow a test protocol in the pool, in our design offices in Hendaye. This protocol aims to reproduce the sensations experienced by the surfer when she is stirred by a wave. If this test is conclusive, we go surfing at sea, testing our swimsuits in real conditions.

GIRL'S SWIMWEAR SUIT

At Decathlon, we design swimsuits for young surfers taking into account their growth, which is why we systematically associate a stature with the size, i.e. the size of the child, because age is not enough to guarantee the right size. Indeed, two 10-year-old girls can have totally different sizes, measurements, weights and morphologies. We also recommend a fitting in the cabin if possible.

Here is the link between age and height visible on the labels of our swimsuits: 4/5 years: from 105 to 114 cm 5/6 years: from 115 to 124 cm 7/8 years: from 125 to 132 cm 8/9 years: from 133 to 142 cm 10/11 years: from 143 to 150 cm 12/13 years: from 151 to 160 cm 14/15 years: from 161 to 169 cm

DRY CUTTING AND WET CUTTING

To ensure perfect fit in the water, we have to fit our models dry because once in the water, the swimsuits stretch. We therefore advise you to take the right size. The swimsuit must fit snugly on your body in the cabin, you must feel supported. The elastane contained in certain components used in the design of our swimsuits softens and relaxes in the water.

The size or model does not suit you? would you like to make an exchange in your Decathlon store? No problem, just be careful not to cut the swimsuit tag in case you want to exchange it.
