GUIDE TO SIZES MEN

To take your measurements:

  • Head:  Wrap a measuring tape around your head, above the eyebrows. Make sure it's parallel to the ground when your head is straight.
  • Chest:  Wrap a measuring tape around your back and come forward as far as your chest goes. Make sure it is straight and parallel to the ground.
    Raise your head, tighten the tape and breathe normally.
  • Size:  Wrap a tape measure around the narrowest part of your waist, above your belly button.
    Raise your head, tighten the tape and breathe normally.
  • Main:  Hold a tape measure at the bend of your thumb. Wrap around your palm.
  • Feet: hold on stand against a wall, heels touching the wall. Place an object (eg a book...) against your longest toe.
    Measure the length between the wall and the object.

      How to use :

      If your horse has the habit of pulling violently when tied, we advise you to use an anti-panic carabiner to free it quickly.

      FS size:

      Standard horse (160 to 170 cm) and large horse (170 to 180 cm).

      CS size:

      Pony C (130 to 140 cm) and Pony D, small horse (140 to 160 cm).

      Why maintain your leathers?

      Appropriate care of your leather is essential for the comfort of the horse and the safety of the rider. A well-maintained saddle or net lasts longer and provides better working conditions. Leather maintenance is made easier when it is regular: daily, weekly, monthly depending on climatic conditions and frequency of use.

      Tips for restoring your leathers:

      Glycerin soap cleans your leathers daily, however it is important to do a complete treatment once a month. STEP 1: Clean your leathers with the glycerin soap and sponge. Let it dry. STEP 1: Apply the oil with the cloth, paying particular attention to the underside of the leather. Let it penetrate. Not recommended for leathers that are already supple. STEP 2: For all types of leather: Apply the grease with the cloth, let it penetrate, then buff for a shiny finish.

      Maintenance tips before first use:

      Oil new leathers. Clean regularly with glycerin soap. Grease occasionally to keep the leather soft and strong.

      Resistance:

      The resistance of our halters is tested in the laboratory. All our halters withstand at least a pull of 200 kg.
