Check your Easybreath mask before practice

Before each use, check your Easybreath mask, especially your child's: - Hold the snorkel in your hand and move it from left to right. The ball should move freely. - Check that the seal is present, in good condition, and correctly positioned. - Check that all valves are present, not deformed, and firmly seated against their supports. - The skirt should fit the mask perfectly. - Never use the mask without the snorkel.

How does Easybreath work?

Fresh air projected onto the front lens before reaching the nose or mouth via the nasal valves continuously limits fogging. Air laden with humidity and CO₂ is expelled through channels in the mask's frame, which direct this air into the snorkel. The air is constantly renewed. What size Easybreath mask is needed for the Easybreath fins and mask kit?

If you choose a shoe size between 36/37 and 40/41, the mask will be delivered in size S/M; for a shoe size between 42/43 and 46/47, the mask will be delivered in size M/L. The Easybreath is available in 3 sizes, covering 90% of faces. For children between 6 and 10 years old, choose size XS. For ages 10 and up, and for smaller faces, choose size S/M; for larger faces, choose size M/L.

What is Easybreath?

The Decathlon Easybreath 500 mask is the second generation of the full-face snorkeling mask, invented by Decathlon. It has the same features as the previous model: 180° vision, anti-fog, easy to put on... and we've improved the mask's durability, the comfort of the skirt, and breathability by reducing inhalation effort by 20%. What should I do if I have fog?

Nothing is more annoying than fog on a mask lens! If this happens, we recommend repeating the four steps detailed earlier, repositioning your Easybreath mask correctly, and checking that the size of your Easybreath mask is properly fitted to your face. If the problem persists, do not use the mask and contact your nearest Decathlon store.

Snorkeling safety

Snorkeling is an easy activity, accessible to everyone, but it must be practiced safely. If you feel tired, short of breath, or dizzy, remove your mask and get out of the water. Do not use this product if you have cardiovascular or respiratory problems (lung infection, tonsillitis, asthma, high blood pressure, heart disease, etc.). Consult your doctor if you have any doubts.

Can I dive with my Easybreath?

The Easybreath 500 is not suitable for diving. The air volume in this snorkeling mask is greater than that of a traditional diving mask. At a depth of just 1 meter, the pressure of the mask on the face becomes noticeable. Furthermore, when freediving, it is essential to equalize pressure. However, with the Easybreath mask, this is impossible because the nose is inaccessible.
