Based in Hendaye, in the southwest of France, OLAIAN is Decathlon's new surf and bodyboard brand. In our offices “feet in the water” we can design a swimsuit in one day, then test it directly at sea to check how well it holds up in the waves.

The environmental impacts of the product are calculated over its entire life cycle and using various indicators. An overall ABCDE score is created to help you easily identify the products with the best environmental performance by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, pants, backpacks, etc.). For 6 years, we have been working to accompany women's bodies with an obsession, that women feel beautiful in our swimsuits. The chest is not crushed, the buttocks are not marked, the neckline is enhanced. Our mission is to ensure that every woman, whatever her body, her morphology, her size, finds a swimsuit that suits her.

Whether you're a surfer or enjoying a swim in the sea, you don't want to lose your swimsuit! That's why we test all of our swimwear in the waves. Each model is designed for surfing and is perfectly suited to other water sports: stand up paddle, windsurfing, kite surfing, swimming, etc.

In the practice of surfing, at any time a wave can take away our swimsuit, that's why we designed the BEA bra. Very feminine with its V neckline mounted on basque, it benefits from a very good hold thanks to its double back adjustment (upper back then chest circumference) and corresponds to any type of morphology and to all water sports.

You practice surfing regularly. During your sessions, you row to the line up, pass the bar by duck if you are on a shortboard or turtle, on a longboard then surf waves of less than one meter. You fall often and are used to being tossed about underwater. Your swimsuit must meet the requirements of your practice and stay in place with each of your movements. We have designed for you a range adapted to your regular practice and your morphology.

To ensure a perfect fit in the water, we are required to adjust our models while dry because once in the water, the swimsuits relax. We therefore advise you to choose the right size. The swimsuit must fit snugly on your body in the fitting room; you should feel supported. The elastane contained in certain components used in the design of our swimsuits softens and relaxes in the water.

We design swimsuits whose promise is to hold up in the waves. To evaluate them, we call on a panel of surfers with different morphologies who will follow a test protocol in the pool, in our design offices in Hendaye. This protocol aims to reproduce the sensations experienced by the surfer when she is stirred by a wave. If this test is conclusive, we go surfing at sea, testing our swimsuits in real conditions.
