To take your measurements:

  • Head:  Wrap a measuring tape around your head, above the eyebrows. Make sure it's parallel to the ground when your head is straight.
  • Chest:  Wrap a measuring tape around your back and come forward as far as your chest goes. Make sure it is straight and parallel to the ground.
    Raise your head, tighten the tape and breathe normally.
  • Size:  Wrap a tape measure around the narrowest part of your waist, above your belly button.
    Raise your head, tighten the tape and breathe normally.
  • Main:  Hold a tape measure at the bend of your thumb. Wrap around your palm.
  • Feet: hold on stand against a wall, heels touching the wall. Place an object (eg a book...) against your longest toe.

      Adjustment:

      Your protective vest must always be closed and adjusted as close as possible to your torso. Wear it over light clothing.

      Warning :

      A protective vest or back protector cannot prevent certain injuries, but could reduce their severity in the event of a fall. It is strongly advised to replace any vest or back protector following a fall because the effectiveness of the product can then no longer be guaranteed.

      Ranking :

      The Safety protective vest is a performance level 2 vest. It corresponds to the minimum recommended for normal equestrian activities, from beginners to confirmed riders practicing in a club or any type of riding practice (excluding driving and official eventing competitions, activities recommending the wearing of a level 3 protective vest).

      1 level:

      Minimum protection intended for professional jockeys.

      2 level:

      Appropriate protection for low-risk practice. This is the minimum level for the practice of leisure riding.

      3 level:

      Superior protection suitable for recreational riding, competition. It is also intended for people working in contact with horses and running the risk of kicking.

      Washing :

      Possibility to wash the cover separately at 30°C. Be careful to reattach the foams correctly after washing.
