Why wear this knee brace?
Wearing this support knee brace may be indicated in the event of ligament instability, chronic instability or apprehension in order to facilitate the resumption of sport (basketball, football, handball, tennis, badminton, running, trail running, gymnastics, judo, skiing ) after sprain.
What is a sprain?
A knee sprain corresponds to a stretching or rupture of one or more ligaments of the knee: the internal lateral ligament (LLI), the external lateral ligament (LLE), the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and the posterior cruciate ligament ( LCP). The sprain is benign when the ligaments have been stretched. The sprain is of average severity when there is a rupture of only the lateral ligaments. Serious sprains correspond to a complete rupture of one of the cruciate and/or lateral ligaments.
What size knee brace should I choose?
Measure around your leg, 8 cm above the center of the patella. Then match the measured value with the following size chart: Size 1: 36 - 39 cm Size 2: 39 - 43 cm Size 3: 43 - 47 cm Size 4: 47 - 51 cm
