This shock-resistant mudguard protects the mountain biker from mud splashes on the torso and face. To do this, place the blade as high as possible under the frame. In wet conditions, you can never completely avoid mud stains... A mountain bike mudguard placed on the fork remains more effective. For utilitarian travel, if your bike frame and tire width allow it, opt instead for a hybrid mudguard (with longer blades closer to the wheels).
This mudguard is suitable for mountain bikes that do not have welded sheath stops below the frame
The mudguard blade comes with 2 velcro straps adjustable in length
Be careful to respect the mounting direction (larger blade width downwards (BOTTOM). If screws are already present under the frame (frame protection or sheath fixing), use them for mounting, without the straps. The screws may be too short. In this case, you will need to buy longer ones: M5 L20 countersunk head. If an external battery is on the frame, remove it before fixing the mudguard with its Velcro straps, then replace it on top.

Alright ! Used mainly for cycling on a Decathlon gravel bike, this mudguard largely prevents small splashes on the bottom of my pants and shoes. The only small negative point is that the transmission cables do not all fit in the channel provided for this purpose. This causes a slight tension in the rear derailleur and thus a slight clicking of the gears: a small adjustment of the tension of the derailleur cable is possibly necessary.
