The glove is made primarily of neoprene. This helps keep the hands warm even when the gloves are wet. The Duragrip (coated polyurethane) protects the palm from abrasion while providing excellent grip.
Mittens are often used in summer to protect your hands while maintaining the agility of your fingers, and without getting your hands too hot. Gloves with 2 cut fingers allow you to keep more heat when the weather is cooler, while keeping the dexterity of the thumb and index finger for the necessary manipulations when sailing.
Neoprene gloves are suitable for light sailing because they allow you to retain heat even when the gloves are wet, while remaining comfortable. They are also suitable for habitable sailing.
Rinse with fresh water after your navigation, to avoid bad odors, and dry at room temperature.
Since neoprene is a stretchy material, we recommend that you choose gloves that are close to the hand and fitted. If you choose gloves that are too big, the insulating function will not be ensured and you will also lose comfort.

Good product for light sailing. Tested cruising in very cold and strong winds: little interest because the large ones are then closed cold, wet and difficult to dry. Signs of wear after two uses.
I bought these gloves for a week of sailing. Nice material and good grip. I bought them online because Mulhouse is far from the sea and therefore this type of material is very rarely available locally. For the gloves I am size L and so I didn't think I would have any problems with the L/XL size. Well I was unpleasantly surprised because the gloves were much too tight and I did without them most of the time. For the rest the gloves are more than adequate with a very good quality/price ratio.
Protects hands well, especially the first phalanx of the little finger.
