The distance between the ground and your hands determines the length of your clubs. So, we studied your arms, and we discovered that you can be tall with short arms or short with long arms. Stop the preconceived ideas: - Women should play shorter clubs - Men should play longer clubs - Short people should play shorter clubs - Tall people should play longer clubs
We have therefore defined 2 club lengths that allow us to meet 90% of golfer body shapes. We adapt your clubs to your body shape and not the other way around. Our studies have allowed us to define two shaft lengths: - Size 1 if your ground/hand distance is less than 78,5cm - Size 2 if your ground/hand distance is greater than 78,5cm
The grip fitted to Inesis 500 clubs is adapted to the length of the club: Undersize size 1 grip on size 1 shafts Standard size 2 grip on size 2 shafts
LOFT: HL corresponding to 12° Swingweight: D3 Flexibility: Regular Length: 45,5" T2 grip weight: 51 grams Length: 26,5 cm Diameter: 2,7 cm
The 500 driver is 12° lofted. This may seem like a lot compared to the 9 or 10,5° commonly found on the market. You might think, “That’s too much for me, I’ll hit some lofts and lose distance.” Don’t worry. Our research has shown that 12° lofted golfers achieve the greatest distance on their drives. We also selected the shaft for each speed that provided the best trajectory.
You can easily measure your height at home by following this method. It's Albert and Samuel in the video. And if they can do it, you can do it! ;)
Because clubs of the right length allow you to have a natural and comfortable swing position to send the ball far and straight. And rest assured, just because you play shorter clubs doesn't mean you'll be shorter on the course. In fact, with the right club length, you send your ball farther, because you hit the ball more to the center of the clubface.
3 shafts for 3 speeds. We conducted a study on 100 golfers that allowed us to divide the swings of advanced golfers into 3 groups: slow, medium, and fast speeds. For each speed, we selected the shaft that provides the best compromise between distance and accuracy. The DRIVER 500 MID-SPEED is fitted with the ELEMENT CHROME 5F3 graphite shaft. It weighs 54g to maintain a good swing speed, and its flexibility allows you to achieve medium trajectories.
With a simple question: you are on the fairway 135 meters from the flag, which club do you choose? - 5 iron, hybrid, driver: you have a SLOW SPEED - 6 or 7 iron: you have a MEDIUM SPEED - 8 iron or less: you have a FAST SPEED
Because with a shaft adapted to your swing speed, you get optimal ball height and distance. - A shaft that is too stiff for your swing speed does not deform enough at impact: you have more difficulty lifting the ball and lose distance. - A shaft that is too soft for your swing speed deforms too much at impact: your ball trajectories are too high and you feel like you don't know where the clubhead is during the swing.
"The loft is not adjustable. In fact, very few golfers adjust their driver and they sometimes do it to compensate for a swing defect (slice, hook, balls too low, etc.). This is not helpful because the driver does not help the golfer to progress. We preferred to make a non-adjustable driver and recover the weight of an adjustable hosel to place it in the right place on the driver head and thus obtain an ideally placed center of gravity for good ball trajectories."
"We had two words in mind when we designed the 500 driver: powerful and forgiving. So you have the best chance of hitting your ball far, but more importantly, in the middle of the fairway!"

Until a month ago, very good purchase: driver quite easy to play and consistent. The 12° opening is suitable for beginner/intermediate golfers and the whole thing inspires confidence (completely subjective criterion, but critical at the start of 1 :)). Now, a head that detaches from the shaft in less than 3 years and without hitting like a lumberjack, for my part I have never had. Once is not unusual, I am usually very satisfied with Decathlon products and particularly the quality-price ratio. But I will think twice before taking an Inesis club again.
Good grip
Recently ordered my first Driver, after four years of perfecting my irons, it was time to invest in a driver and my choice was made directly after golfer reviews and tutorial reviews to choose the 500 Inesis model in size 2. Tested this weekend and already good impressions at all levels, driver weight, tolerance and very good performance. After a few additional courses, I think that this club will allow me to master it well in the coming months and aim to drop below the 25 index mark. In any case, very happy with this first purchase for an unbeatable quality/price club from the major driver brands. Well done to the Decathlon development team.
