Each component has been specifically designed by our B'Twin team. The low frame allows children to easily get on and off and makes it easier to overcome obstacles (sidewalks, hills). The footrest encourages them to lift their feet off the ground, thus developing their balance. The position of the footrest prepares them to place their feet in the right place when they move on to the bike. Finally, the saddle rises at the back to allow children to gain support and propel themselves efficiently.

IS THERE AN ANGLE LOCK?

We made the choice to leave a significant angle rotation at the level of the handlebars to allow more amplitude of maneuver. However, the shape of the frame stops the race of the wheel, so the handlebars cannot reverse. The child has free rein to progress in his piloting, in complete safety.

STOP EASY INNOVATION: A PATENTED BRAKING SYSTEM SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN

A more accessible brake, better grip, these are the advantages of our "Easy Stop System". For a more natural movement, pressing the brake lever is parallel to the handlebars. While remaining progressive, this innovative brake lever thus makes it possible to gain 30% in braking power compared to a conventional lever. An innovation from our BTWIN team, appreciated by children and parents alike.

A BRAKE LIKE THE BIG

We opted for a V-brake system with mini aluminum calipers. It was designed specifically for balance bike use: the adjustment screw is positioned at the back to avoid any friction with the child's legs. We have designed ribs on the pads that interlock with the ridges of the plastic rims, which guarantees an optimal level of braking. The slight noise characteristic of the friction of the brake pads on the rim testifies to the effectiveness of the braking.

10-INCH WHEELS

The wheels are 10" in size, with plastic rims and solid EVA foam tires, "hybrid" (all-terrain). Please note: The edges of the foam tire are less regular, sometimes giving the impression of "warping" the wheel. But rest assured, this is not the case! To properly adjust your brake, you just need to spread the pads a little further apart than on a bike with conventional wheels.

WHY IS RIDE QUALITY IMPORTANT?

The principle of the balance bike is based on the child's propulsion, and the subsequent search for balance. The ride quality comes into play because it's what will allow the child to gain enough momentum to lift their feet off the ground and find their balance. ADJUSTMENT RANGE, A DETAIL THAT MATTERS

To ensure our balance bike accompanies your child for longer with ergonomics adapted to their morphology, we have extended the saddle adjustment range to 11 cm. Minimum saddle height: 30,2 cm Maximum saddle height: 41,2 cm For a child who is just starting out, the saddle height should correspond to their crotch height (in order to have their feet flat on the ground). WITH OR WITHOUT TOOL?

We've also thought of parents. The saddle height adjustment is tool-free thanks to the "Quick Release" system. The handlebars are adjusted with a 5 mm Allen key. Removing the wheels requires two 5 mm Allen keys. These tools are supplied with the balance bike.

HOW ARE OUR DRAISIENNES TESTED?

All our balance bikes are laboratory tested. These tests make it possible to validate the EN-71 toy standard, but also to check the resistance of the product and the effectiveness of braking. These tests are supplemented by field tests, to ensure that our product meets the specifications for use, and "holds up" in real conditions, from the point of view of children, ... and parents. !

WHAT DOES THE BOX CONTAIN?

The box contains the disassembled balance bike (wheels, handlebars, and saddle removed) and the tools needed for assembly and adjustment. Don't panic, instructions will guide you through the steps to follow. Your mini-rider will be able to enjoy a balance bike that's been carefully prepared and adjusted to the right size. HOW TO PRACTICE SAFELY?

Regulations prohibit the use of toys on public roads. The apprentice cyclist must therefore stay on the sidewalk. And for his safety, protective equipment (helmet and protections) is strongly recommended.
