Moving, learning, and playing are essential components of a child's healthy development. Riding a balance bike, children can learn to work on their balance, navigate space, and coordinate their movements, all while immersing themselves in their imaginary worlds.
Each component has been specifically designed by our B'Twin team. The low frame allows children to easily get on and off and makes it easier to overcome obstacles (sidewalks, hills). The footrest encourages them to lift their feet off the ground, thus developing their balance. The position of the footrest prepares them to place their feet in the right place when they move on to the bike. Finally, the saddle rises at the back to allow children to gain support and propel themselves efficiently.
We made the choice to leave a significant angle rotation at the handlebars to allow more amplitude of maneuver. However, the shape of the frame stops the race of the wheel, so the handlebars cannot reverse. The child has free rein to progress in his piloting, in complete safety.

The wheels are 10" in size, with plastic rims and solid EVA foam tires, typed "hybrid" (all-road).
The principle of the balance bike is based on the child's propulsion, and the subsequent search for balance. The quality of the ride comes into play because it is what will allow the child to gain sufficient momentum to lift their feet off the ground and find their balance. We have chosen simplicity for our entry-level model, by equipping it with a metal axle inserted directly into the plastic rim of the wheel.
To ensure our balance bike accompanies your child for longer with ergonomics adapted to their morphology, we have extended the saddle adjustment range to 11 cm. minimum saddle height: 30,2 cm maximum saddle height: 41,2 cm For a child who is just starting out, the saddle height should correspond to their crotch height (in order to have their feet flat on the ground). The handlebar is also adjustable over a range of 8 cm. minimum handlebar: 43,5 cm maximum handlebar: 51,5 cm

The saddle and handlebar height are adjusted with a 5 mm BTR (Allen) key. Removing the wheels requires two 5 mm BTR (Allen) keys. These tools are supplied with the balance bike.
All our balance bikes are laboratory tested. These tests make it possible to validate the EN-71 toy standard, but also to check the resistance of the product and the effectiveness of braking. These tests are supplemented by field tests, to ensure that our product meets the specifications for use, and "holds up" in real conditions, from the point of view of children, ... and parents. !
The box contains the disassembled balance bike (wheels, handlebars, and saddle removed) and the tools needed for assembly and adjustment. Don't panic, instructions will guide you through the steps to follow. Your mini-rider will be able to enjoy a balance bike that's been carefully prepared and adjusted to the right size. Regulations prohibit the use of toys on public roads. The apprentice cyclist must therefore stay on the sidewalk. And for his safety, protective equipment (helmet and protections) is strongly recommended.
This model is compatible with the accessories to be positioned on the handlebars for a diameter of 19 mm, as well as with the carrying strap, the balance bike bag and the balance bike kickstand.
