To take your measurements:

  • Head:  Wrap a measuring tape around your head, above the eyebrows. Make sure it's parallel to the ground when your head is straight.
  • Chest:  Wrap a measuring tape around your back and come forward as far as your chest goes. Make sure it is straight and parallel to the ground.
    Raise your head, tighten the tape and breathe normally.
  • Size:  Wrap a tape measure around the narrowest part of your waist, above your belly button.
    Raise your head, tighten the tape and breathe normally.
  • Main:  Hold a tape measure at the bend of your thumb. Wrap around your palm.
  • Feet: hold on stand against a wall, heels touching the wall. Place an object (eg a book...) against your longest toe.
    Measure the length between the wall and the object.

      A dobok adapted to the codes of taekwondo and to practice.

      For the visual aspect, we have designed a dobok that fits into the traditional aesthetic of taekwondo: its fabric is ribbed, its collar is white and the tunic bears the classic taekwondo kanji on the back. And for your practice? With its taekwondo-specific cut, its long sleeves, its low-cut tunic and its increased freedom of movement - especially in the legs - your dobok is suitable for both your poomsae and your fights.

      Taekwondo is a percussion martial art, based on punches and kicks. Suffice it to say, you'll sweat a little, and probably a lot! So for your dobok, we've chosen a woven fabric that matches the traditional codes of taekwondo. And to bring you more comfort, lightness, and durability, the fabric is made of 65% cotton and 35% polyester. Plus, it dries faster!

      ...our new taekwondo collection! And to offer you doboks adapted to your practice, our four-person design team spent a year working on designs, patterns, and prototypes. The next step was a lot of discussion with our supplier and testing with our internal collaborators, all taekwondo enthusiasts. And the result, according to our product manager Enrique? "A dobok we're proud to wear."

      Enrique, Product Manager at Outshock, explains the design of the doboks:

      "Martial arts have many aesthetic codes. For taekwondo, we relied on these codes to make improvements. It's a bit like retouching with a paintbrush. We have a community of taekwondo teachers and competitors in Spain: we asked them questions about their needs. It was a great collaboration. That's what's great about martial arts: we light a lot of fuses and people share their passion."
