Based in Hendaye, in the southwest of France, OLAIAN is Decathlon's new surf and bodyboard brand. In our offices “feet in the water” we can design a swimsuit in one day, then test it directly at sea to check how well it holds up in the waves.

The size or model does not suit you? would you like to make an exchange in your Decathlon store? No problem, just be careful not to cut the swimsuit tag in case you want to exchange it.
Wave resistance test
We design swimsuits whose promise is to hold up in the waves. To evaluate them, we call on a panel of surfers with different morphologies who will follow a test protocol in the pool, in our design offices in Hendaye. This protocol aims to reproduce the sensations experienced by the surfer when she is stirred by a wave. If this test is conclusive, we go surfing at sea, testing our swimsuits in real conditions.
You are a beginner surfer
You start surfing or only surf a few times a year, during your holidays or on a surf trip. You stay where you are, in very small waves or foam. You practice for the pleasure of being in the water and for the sensations it gives you. During your sessions, you fall often but you fall in weak waves. We have designed for you a wide range of swimsuits adapted to your occasional practice and your morphology.
Dry cutting and wet cutting
To ensure a perfect fit in the water, we are required to adjust our models while dry because once in the water, the swimsuits relax. We therefore advise you to choose the right size. The swimsuit must fit snugly on your body in the fitting room: you must feel supported. The elastane contained in certain components used in the design of our swimsuits softens and relaxes in the water.
Morphologie
Along with the sliding triangle, knotted bottoms are two of the bikini's must-haves! They're a staple of any summer beach wardrobe. Thanks to their high-cut thighs, they visually lengthen the legs. Contrary to popular belief, any woman can wear them as long as they're comfortable with their body, especially their stomach, because they're rather low-rise. The side ties can be tightened and ensure the bottoms stay in place in the water.
