GUIDE TO SIZES MEN

To take your measurements:

  • Head:  Wrap a measuring tape around your head, above the eyebrows. Make sure it's parallel to the ground when your head is straight.
  • Chest:  Wrap a measuring tape around your back and come forward as far as your chest goes. Make sure it is straight and parallel to the ground.
    Raise your head, tighten the tape and breathe normally.
  • Size:  Wrap a tape measure around the narrowest part of your waist, above your belly button.
    Raise your head, tighten the tape and breathe normally.
  • Main:  Hold a tape measure at the bend of your thumb. Wrap around your palm.
  • Feet: hold on stand against a wall, heels touching the wall. Place an object (eg a book...) against your longest toe.
    Measure the length between the wall and the object.

      Handle ergonomics

      The handle of the SUBEA knife has been designed to facilitate grip and ergonomics in order to offer maximum precision (with thumb on top). It can be used by both right-handed and left-handed people. The handle also has a guard that protects you from the blade.

      Blades

      304L stainless steel blade with high mechanical and oxidation resistance. It has a classic 5.5 cm blade section and a 4 cm saw section. The tip of the knife ends in a small flat to ensure maximum safety (it is not a dagger).

      Dimensions and weight

      Blade length: 5.5 cm Total length: 15 cm (17.5 cm with sheath) Total width: 3.5 cm (6 cm with sheath) Blade thickness: 2mm Knife weight: 75 grams (123 grams with sheath and straps) Strap length: 14 cm

      Bindings

      The elastic straps prevent the knife from moving and turning on the plunger. We recommended fixing the sheath on the corrugated pipe of the inflator, upside down in order to remove it and store it even with one hand. Thanks to its wide loop you also have the possibility of attaching it elsewhere on your equipment. The straps are closed with sturdy plastic clips.
