Children's 100 Neoprene 1,5mm Shorty Surf Wetsuit

To take full advantage of the features of your wetsuit, it is necessary to choose the right size. A wetsuit should fit snugly and there should be no visible creases. In the dry it is normal to feel too tight, this discomfort disappears as soon as the wetsuit is wet. If you choose a wetsuit that is too big, creases will form, chafing will appear and thermal insulation will be reduced (water intakes). Try it before you buy it!

The neoprene is lined with polyester textile for added abrasion resistance. Neoprene thickness: 1,5 mm. Neoprene is made from a closed-cell elastomer foam (polychloroprene) containing nitrogen bubbles.

The finish of the collar has been studied to limit irritation. Depending on individual sensitivity, it is possible to wear a UV top under the suit to limit the risk of irritation. The application of greasy cream (eg Vaseline) in the areas of friction (neck, armpits) is also recommended in the event of long use. Be sure to position the flap inside the suit to limit any risk of irritation with the Zip and the collar.

Our zips and closures are laboratory tested to ensure optimal lifespan and good resistance to salt water. We position the closure at the back of the wetsuit for more comfort when practicing board sports (lying down while paddling).

Legislation obliges us on junior products to put a short cord on the zipper to avoid the risk of strangulation in the youngest. From size 10 years, the cords are long and allow handling independently. A small scratch avoids the untimely opening of the slider in use.
