What is the meaning of upf 50+?
UPF is a globally standardized and regulated sun protection factor (Ultra Violet Protection Factor). It defines the level of protection provided by a textile, and more specifically, the proportion of UV rays transmitted. To meet the standards, it must block at least 95% of UV rays. UPF 50+ means that the textile blocks at least 95% of UVA rays and 98% of UVB rays.
Aqua thermal technology
AQUATHERMIC components incorporate technical features that reduce the thermal shock felt when entering the water. They limit water intake and therefore the cooling caused by the evaporation of this water on its surface when the child is out of the water. This combination thus reduces the duration and intensity of the sensation of cold felt by the child at the edge of the pool.
How does it behave in relation to the sun?
Although this baby UV protection suit provides protection from the sun, phenomena such as reflections (on water, sand, etc.), heat, time of day, etc. must be taken into account. Very practical for bathing children while protecting them.
We had to take the 2 year old size for my daughter who is barely 1 and a half But we were easily able to make an exchange when we realized it. Use to keep my daughter warm at the center park in the greenhouse swimming pools and during the winter. Working perfectly, it started to get cold after about 2 hours. Without this product she felt cold after about 30 minutes.
