What is the meaning of upf 50+?
UPF is a globally standardized and regulated sun protection factor (Ultra Violet Protection Factor). It defines the level of protection provided by a textile, and more specifically, the proportion of UV rays transmitted. To meet the standards, it must block at least 95% of UV rays. UPF 50+ means that the textile blocks at least 95% of UVA rays and 98% of UVB rays.
Child Protection
Because the child's defense system is set up after the age of 3, babies' skin is very sensitive to the sun. At identical exposure, the effects of the sun are 2 to 3 times greater in a child than in an adult. It is therefore important to protect them effectively.
How does it behave in relation to the sun?
Although this baby UV protection suit provides protection from the sun, phenomena such as reflections (on water, sand, etc.), heat, time of day, etc. must be taken into account. Doesn't match anything more I liked
Jumpsuit with “soft” lining to keep you warm. Fairly small size. The 12 month is suitable for my 6 month old baby (64 cm, 7 kg) although the sleeves and legs are still too long
