Cast polyurethane insole: more comfort and protection during landings.

The insole (insole), made of polyurethane, absorbs shocks while maintaining the "boardfeel" (sensation on the board). With a thickness of 9mm at the heel and 5mm at the forefoot, this insole is not afraid of "gaps". Since the compression set of polyurethane is very low, this sole will keep its initial shape and technical characteristics for a long time.

Is the new VULCA 500 II solid?

Hidden Rubber Toecap (HRT): laminated rubber reinforcement under the leather. This additional, durable and discreet reinforcement helps delay the appearance of holes on the side of your shoes following repetitive aggression from the board grip. In addition, the outsole of the shoe is 11% thicker to resist even more wear, without compromising the boardfeel and grip. Protect the areas of friction with a repair glue such as SHOE GOO II

A cutting edge specially designed for skateboarding

The skate shoe is the interface between the skater's body and their board. That's why it's important for the shoe to be relatively close to the foot for maximum precision and board control. We took customer feedback into account and decided to redesign a new, thinner, and narrower last. This last, closer to the foot, allows for a better feel of the board during tricks, greater precision, and greater control in all situations.

What is a vulcanized sole?

A vulcanized sole is a sole made with hot-glued rubber. Vulcanization welds the fabric upper, the rubber band and the sole. The advantages of this technique are multiple: flexibility and grip. This allows you to feel your skateboard well and have a lot of control, which is essential for performing tricks.

How to choose your skate shoe size?

New vulcanized skate shoes are usually quite narrow when first used. They adapt after being worn for a few hours (the vulcanized band deforms to adapt to the foot). The ideal is therefore to choose a fitted skate shoe. For thin feet, we advise you to take the usual size. For wide feet, do not hesitate to take a size above, especially for wearing them in everyday life.

How to Extend the Life of Your Skate Shoes with SHOE GOO II Repair Glue

To extend the life of your skate shoes, we recommend using a shoe repair glue like SHOE GOO II. Areas prone to wear, such as the OLLIES and FLIPS areas on the upper of the shoe, can be protected before use or easily repaired. The glue will create a protective layer against grip abrasion. This way, your skate shoes can last much longer, until the sole wears out.

The vulcanized construction provides excellent board grip and plenty of flexibility (boardfeel). Our polyurethane insole ensures a good level of comfort and cushioning.
