GUIDE TO SIZES MEN

To take your measurements:

  • Head:  Wrap a measuring tape around your head, above the eyebrows. Make sure it's parallel to the ground when your head is straight.
  • Chest:  Wrap a measuring tape around your back and come forward as far as your chest goes. Make sure it is straight and parallel to the ground.
    Raise your head, tighten the tape and breathe normally.
  • Size:  Wrap a tape measure around the narrowest part of your waist, above your belly button.
    Raise your head, tighten the tape and breathe normally.
  • Main:  Hold a tape measure at the bend of your thumb. Wrap around your palm.
  • Feet: hold on stand against a wall, heels touching the wall. Place an object (eg a book...) against your longest toe.
    Measure the length between the wall and the object.

      The grip of our soles is certified. To qualify, the shoe must pass laboratory tests to determine the grip coefficient on different surfaces (smooth, rough, dry, wet). To validate these tests, we have the quality of our soles assessed in the field, while hiking, by a representative panel of testers over 500 km. The soles of these shoes have obtained a grip score of 4/5 and are certified OUTDOORCONTACT©.

      Our hiking shoes are designed for use on hiking trails. In fact, we choose and test the components of the sole and the upper of our shoes to best adapt to the practice of hiking on soft paths (such as a dirt forest path) or mineral paths (such as a rocky coastal path). Intensive use on the road (asphalt) can accelerate the wear of your shoes and cause you discomfort. Not suitable for mountain hiking.

      Tested for optimal resistance

      Laboratory tests are also carried out to validate the following elements: tearing of eyelets and straps, gluing, toxicology, UV resistance, abrasion of the sole and upper components, accelerated aging. These tests allow us to improve the quality of our products and prevent premature wear of our hiking boots.
