Grippy soles
Designed in our laboratories, we use a specific rubber formulation to optimize the grip and adhesion of this sole. We systematically look for the best compromise to evolve on soft ground (grip) as well as on dry ground (grip).
Designed for hiking use
Our hiking shoes are designed for use on hiking trails. In fact, we choose and test the components of the sole and the upper of our shoes to best adapt to the practice of hiking on soft paths (such as a dirt forest path) or mineral paths (such as a rocky coastal path). Use on the road (asphalt) may accelerate the wear of your shoes and cause you discomfort. They are not suitable for mountain hiking.
Stress tests
Laboratory tests are carried out to validate the following elements: tearing of eyelets and straps, gluing, toxicology, UV resistance, abrasion of the sole and upper components, accelerated aging. These tests allow us to improve the quality of our products and prevent premature wear of our hiking boots.
Comfort
Our nature hiking shoes have the singular promise of heightened comfort for their user; We have therefore put different ingredients in this shoe to take care of your feet, such as the EVA insole (soft thermoplastic) as well as a heel pad in the same material. We have also made the insole removable for more hygiene ( possibility of washing it).
Which pair of socks are suitable for quechua nh100 mid shoes?
These shoes offer some breathability but not enough to wick away all the moisture from your sweat. We therefore advise you to favor Hike 50 Mid socks: they contain cotton which absorbs moisture and they have a terry construction which draws moisture away from your foot. They are also high enough to protect your ankle from the shoe. It is an excellent combination to limit the appearance of blisters.
Our environmental vision
Because we are aware that we must act to preserve our playground, Quechua is committed to limiting the environmental impact of its products. Today, this product is not eco-designed, but we are all working days to make it more responsible: eco-design, repairability and durability are at the heart of our developments.
